If you've been following Aeon Must Die!, you'll know that Focus Home is synonymous with the controversy and challenges AMD has faced. Now Focus Home Interactive may sound familiar to you. According to Steam, the Tactics release date is set for this year. Instead of being a pseudo shooter, Tactics is more focused on strategy game players and also stars in the Metal Slug series. #METAL SLUG TACTICS PLATFORMS SERIES#The series deviated slightly from the upcoming release of Metal Slug Tactics. This also applies to the Metal Slug series this series is well known for being dynamic side scrollers designed by SNK. The game series has been known to have spin-offs featuring their iconic characters in different gameplay styles or formats, intended to appeal to audiences outside of the main series. We are constantly looking for new talent to grow and support our Group's ambitions, and Leikir Studio, led by Aurélien Loos, is the ideal acquisition to achieve this goal. This is a great recognition of the work done by our teams over the past few years.įocus President Christophe Nobilo added the following: This acquisition confirms our multidisciplinary strategy and will allow us to reach new quality and creative heights. We are happy to join the Focus Group because it is an important step for the growth of our studio. Leiker President and Founder Aurélien Loos said: This studio is leading the development of Metal Slug Tactics, but to date they have buys out Focus Home Interactive. The developer of the title, Leikir Studio, is a fairly small studio with three titles: Rogue Lords, Wondershot, and Isbarah, two of which received positive reviews on Steam. Although it’s a very different game than you’re used to from the series, it’s good to see that the game does resemble the old titles visually.307 Metal Slug Tactics Developer Leikir Acquired by Focus Home Interactive You can get to work with well-known characters such as Marco, Tarma, Fio and Eri. In the game it is important to position your troops tactically and to deal with the various enemies in a logical way. Metal Slug Tactics seems especially interesting to me on the Nintendo Switch, because you can play it anytime and anywhere and also do a mission every time. That seems to be what this game is going to be. That studio has already given a lot of games from the past a new lick of paint or took it to make a new game out of it. The game is made by the French Leikir Studio and published by DotEmu. In those games, you walk from left to right, taking care of the many different enemies you encounter along the way. It is a tactical spin-off on the action-packed arcade game, which has received a lot of parts. Other platforms are not mentioned at this time. Metal Slug Tactics is in the works for both the Nintendo Switch and PC. But this is a new tactical game, which also seems to be worth checking out. That GBA classic will be re-released on the Nintendo Switch at the end of this year. In the title I link Metal Slug Tactics to Advance Wars. We’ve already mentioned a few, but we certainly don’t want to withhold Metal Slug Tactics from you.
